Thanks to our fellow friend Alexander, we can enjoy the first issue of Roger Rabbit’s Toontown: a comic entirely based on Roger Rabbit and his friends, about their antics in Toontown. It features 3 stories: the main one based on Roger Rabbit, the second one involves Baby Herman, and the last one features Jessica Rabbit. Be warned though: this comic is as non-sensical as you can get, so you’ll laugh a lot while reading it!! =D
Right now I’m uploading the main story, which involves Roger Rabbit in a very crazy adventure involving some talking pants… And a lot of flying pizzas!
Every thumbnail is clickable, and will open in a new window:
Stay tooned for the next stories, in the following updates =3
P.S. Thanks a lot, Alexander, for the comic scans and the cheer-up messages!!

Nice update, Bunnyfriend. I hope you enjoyed the comic.
Sure Alexander, thanks again =3
Aww, such a wacky story yet this is so cute! <3 I'm glad to read this. Thanks for sharing it :D
You´re welcome, Ayaka-imouto-chan =3
Soon I´ll upload Baby Herman´s story =D
First of all, I'd like to thank you for posting this. Now I'll tell you why:
I too am a huge fan of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and classic cartoons. Roger is an inspiration to me as well. Now what's different is that I'm also a big fan some other Roger Rabbit characters- namely, the Toon Patrol weasels. I don't approve of their destructive actions, but I can identify with them.
It is because of this that I have become something of an expert on Disney's weasel cartoon characters. I've done a lot of research and hunting to find out as much as possible about Disney's weasels, and I can tell you there is a surprising amount.
Now first, I'd like to ask Alexander's permission to share these scans with fellow weasel fans, whose message board led me to finding this blog:
http://weaselboard.proboards.com/index.cgi
Second, I think you'd be pleased to see my comic book scans and other images, and many of which star Roger:

And here is my written guide to all the weasels I have found so far, excluding the Toon Patrol, since so much about them has already been said:

I encourage you to share all these with your readers! It's been my goal to spread the word about these fascinating characters...
Thanks again for helping me find more weasels!
Tymime, if you want to share these pages with other I would prefer it if you link them to this blog post instead of reposting all the pages. That way there's a possibility Bunnyfirend can get more visitors to his blog.
Tymime:
Thank you very much for the contributions to my blog; I'll be posting some of the scans you're offering me since that's your desire.
But p-p-p-p-please, as Alexander says, spread the word about Toontown Antics among your friends or readers, or maybe linking this journal to the Toon Patrol Board, so I can have more visitors (since this blog is almost unknown to the Roger Rabbit community). I'll be very glad if you do that =3
Alexander:
Thanks again for your support. This week I had some doubts, and your kind words (as well as Ayaka-chan's support) helped me to keep going ahead.
So, I still love Roger Rabbit, and I'll still update this journal =3
That is good to know Bunny, nice that my supporting words were helpful.
Alexander:
Oh, well, that's already been taken care of, because I found this post because someone linked to it in that message board.
(Unfortunately, no one but me seems to care for this particular story...)
Ok, cool. I found the thread over there.
I guess you're not totally alone though, the user who posted the link in that thread seemed to enjoy it.
I'm with both of you. I've read some comments about how silly the story is, but come on! It's Toontown; things are supposed to be silly and random!
Oh well... Maybe they were expecting more weasels' related material. I know some of the members of that message board hate Roger Rabbit, and maybe that isn't helping.
What the members there consider to be the ideal weasel story doesn't really exist yet. WFRR is as close as it gets, and the Toon Patrol dies, for crying out loud!
That's why there's so much fanfiction there. We all want the weasels to get the spotlight, and we think they deserve it, but Disney doesn't think so! That's one reason I want to spread the word about them- I'm hoping they'll get popular.
Tymime:
Sadly I can't share your point of view about the weasels from the Toon Patrol, since I consider them annoying (not because I love Roger... Just can't stand them).
But I'm agree about the stories: the weasels were very neglected by Disney, and they deserved a little more attention.
...
...I have to say that I'm very disappointed by that.
Tymime:
If you talk about not liking the weasels... Sorry, really I can't stand them. In the other hand, I love Roger Rabbit and a lot of people in the Weasels' message board hate him, but I'm not dissapointed because that. Everyone has different tastes, you know :)
But if you talk about how Disney has neglected the weasels, you must remember they're usually secondary characters.
Them being secondary characters is exactly what makes them neglected. I think they're cool enough to be good main characters.
But... I can see you wouldn't really care either way.
I really think you're jumping to conclusions about the Roger-haters. Most of them are gone now.
Tymime:
I´m always trying to not jump into conclusions, but I assumed not many would like Roger.
And about my point about weasels being secondary characters... Guess I´ll need some time for explain that. And, frankly, I´m a little busy right now. Let´s say they serve as supporting characters, but they won´t get the main roles because most of them are evil, nasty, not polite or they are just there for the gags. Not only Disney does that: excepting maybe Cartoon Network (with I. M. Weasel, who in fact is a secondary character from the Cow & Chicken show) every single cartoon company does the same.
...Which is exactly what needs to be changed! It's not an excuse to stay that way. I guess you don't like anti-heroes or misunderstood outcasts or anything like that. Plenty of people like cartoon villains, and plenty of them get the spotlight, and I think weasels are worthy of the same treatment as any Disney villain.
I don't know... think of it being like Wicked or something like that.
I'm sorry if I'm bothering you with this ranting. To be fair, I've defended Roger against the haters. I apologize if I offend you in any way...
Tymime:
Let's end with this argument, since you're getting things very seriously. Remember cartoons and comics are for making people laugh, not fight and rant about them.
You like weasels. I like Roger. It's as easy as that, and please don't reply to this post. If you do it anyway, your comment will be deleted.
Thanks.
Tymime: YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
P.S. I WON'T publish any of your Roger Rabbit related comics in my journal.
Sorry, but I won't allow any new comments in this entry.
I love Roger Rabbit, but I'm not like Roger Rabbit. I want to live my own life and being true to my real self, instead of relying in some character as a guide of life, even living through him and becoming a cheap copycat of him.
Hope you understand, Tymime.
